Short Choppy Hairstyles

You might have noticed, but if not I will tell you that when it comes to short hair many women seem to prefer the short choppy hairstyles. Maybe this is because this hairstyle seems to look great on most people and it enhances the nice features on one’s face. The hairstyle offers a lot of options but in the same time it takes longer to create that a simpler hairstyle. In this moment it seems to be very fashionable and many celebrities were spotted having this hairstyle, such as Eva Longoria.

There are numerous variations of the style such as the layered one and the bob. Before choosing to have a short choppy hairstyle you should consider whether it is right for you. The first thing you have to do is to decide how long you would like your hair to be. You might want to take a look at this aspect from more points of view (e. g. your personality and the practical sides).

It also might be a good idea to add some bangs to the hairstyle. Regarding what length you opt for, unless you are very lucky, you will have to use a straightener or you will have to curl your hair, so I can say that these styles are quite hard to maintain. As I have mentioned before there are several different choppy styles and I am going to present a few of them. The first one is the short chop that doesn’t have many layers or sections. The choppy look is given by the fact that the back has texture and separation while the front is parted on one side giving a good definition. In this case the hair is cut lightly choppy so this might be a good hairstyle to start with if this is the first time you are going to have short hair.

The choppy shag is a hairstyle that features the front bangs combed over the forehead. The bangs are gradually cut so that it gives definition. There is volume added to the crown and the roots to enhance the style. The advantage of this hairstyle is that it isn’t too short and maybe that is why so many women prefer it. Another upside of the style is that by having volume and bangs it fits most of the face shapes.

The last short choppy hairstyle that I write about is very textured and defined and it has some overlapping strands. In this case also there is a bang combed over the forehead, covering it so that this hairstyle is favorable for most of the women as well. The strands in the back are slightly longer to give the style a nice finish.
